STROKE CLINIC
AGES 6 AND UP
Dynamo Swim School is
offering fall stroke clinics. The
stroke clinic is designed for young swimmers age 6 and older that would like to
work on the fundamentals of swimming. Swimmers should have prior experience in
all four competitive strokes. They
should be able to swim 25 yards Freestyle with side breathing, no breathing to
the front, and swim 25 yards backstroke comfortably. They should also have a legal breaststroke kick and some
experience with butterfly kick.
There will be a swim
meet at the end of the session.
Participants are encouraged to participate, but not required. Date to be determined.
ELIGIBILTY:

Swim School students
that are at least Level 6 (grade school)
or Level 7 (preschool)
·
Swimmers that have been
wait-listed for swim team
·
Swimmers that have
been in stroke clinic previously
All others interested in stroke clinic must tryout.
TIME:
Stroke clinics are
offered on Fridays from 4:15-5:15 and
Saturdays from 3:15 – 4:15.
- Friday Session I: September 10 – November 19 (9
classes, No class Oct. 22)
- Saturday Session I: September 11 – November 20 (9 classes,
No class Oct. 23)

Make-up classes will not be allowed for missed classes.
COST:
The cost for stroke
clinic is $171. If
you sign up for both the Friday and the Saturday clinics the cost is $154.
TRYOUTS:
A tryout will be held
at 3:15PM on Saturday, July 17 and at 7:00PM on Tuesday, July 27. Please call to reserve a spot for tryouts. If you cannot attend the tryout,
please call to schedule an appointment, 770-772-6789, ext. 16.
REGISTRATION:
You must register in person prior to the first day of each new session. Participation in one session does not guarantee a space in another.
Participation is
limited to the first 30 children to register.
